With 26.2 million metric tons (9.6 billion USD) of sugar exports in 2014, Brazil was by far the biggest sugar exporter in that year. Every year about 165 million metric tons of sugar is being produced around the world. Brazil accounts for about 25% of this production making it the world's largest sugar producer as well. Multiple SCB 90 day Documentary Letters of Credit (DLC) ranging from 5M USD to 20M USD were recently used to bring sugar out of Brazil.
